Favorite Song Right Now!

Hey guys. Okay, so lately I have been listening to a lot 80's music. Probably because I am going to a Cher and a Cyndi Lauper concert. But anyways, my favorite song right now "She Bop", by Cyndi Lauper. This song is off of her first album, "She's So Unusual". Cyndi Lauper was the pop queen of the 80's. With her quicker voice, and outrageous hair and clothing she was just what the 80's music business needed. She paved the way for women like Katy Perry, and Lady Gaga to express themselves and not to listen to anyone who tries to change who they are. Cyndi is more known now-a-days for gays activist involvement and her True Color Foundation, which raised 80,000 dollars this past year. Lauper was a fashion, and pop icon and change the way the world looked at pop female artist forever.

SPRING IS HERE!

Spring is here everyone! I am so happy that winter is over and done for! I was getting sick of all the rain, snow, and constantly having to put on a jacket and then take off a jacket. But anyways now that spring is here  have been looking up some new summer recipes. Lately i have been in to cold snacks. What i mean by that is popsicles. There is nothing like have an ice cold popsicle on a hot summer day! That is my favorite find of snack. noe most people would just go to the supermarket and pick up a box of "organic" fruit sicles. People just because the box says it is, does not mean it actually is! I believe that if you don't know all of the ingredients, then don't buy it. My favorite part of eating healthy  is that you actually know what you are putting in your food, and your body. For this recipe all you will need is a blender, your favorite fruit, and some water (can be coconut), along with some popsicle molds. All you have to do is blend all of your ingredients together then put them in the molds to freeze in the freezer. And you're done! Easy, simple, and healthy.

CHER AND CYNDI LAUPER CONCERT!!!

Okay, so for Christmas my mom surprised my sister an I with Cher tickets. growing up in my house all we pretty much listened to was Cher, and 80's music. When we were trying to get better seats one day, Cher announced who was opening for her. It was CYNDY LAUPER. I literally started to cry. I love Cyndi Lauper. Here is a link to Cher's new hit single, "Woman's World", and one of Cyndi Lauper's song, "Girls Just Want to Have Fun".

All Fired Up

Hey guys! Okay so this post is a mixture of art and recreation. There is a place right by my house that my family and I go to all the time. It also the perfect place to let your creative side free! All Fired Up, is a clay and pottery painting place. You can schedule parties and other various events. My favorite part of the place is that you are able to pick your own piece of pottery that you want to paint. Their prices range from how big or how small your piece is. They recently just added glass murals that you can make yourself, which I think is great! You can pick out the shapes and colors of the glass your want, place it together and then they melt and cool the piece of art for you.

All Fire Up, offers a peaceful environment. What make this place so special are the people. The women and men that work there are so sweet and VERY talented at what they do! They are always ready to help when you need it, along with give you advice on how to get the result you want. So if you're looking to let loose on your creative side, or need a new idea for a party place then look up All Fired Up, and find a location near you!

Bad Food!

So I am on spring break this week and my family and I decided to go to Disney world for four days. We got there on a Tuesday and our first outing was Downtown Disney Market Place. With the atmosphere buzzing and crowds of people pileing into the shops to shield themselves from the rain, you can't help but build up an appetite.

This night my mom decided to pick where we ate. We ate Fulton's Crab House. When you walk through the door you are welcomed by the comforting smell of warm seafood spices and friendly hostest. When it came to ordering I decided on the Atlantic salmon. This was a bad choice on my part. With the salmon came a bean succotash sautéed in bacon and butternut squash purée. As a whole all I could taste was salt, and slim. The salmon was a slimy constancy, and it was bathed in salt that I could not even finish the dish.

NOTE: DO NOT TRUST YOUR EYES IN THE PICTURE.

End of The Year!

So the end of the school year is approaching very quickly and I have been looking back on this fantastic year! Now this year I went to a new school, which was an amazing choice for me. I used to go to a regular public school, and now I'm back to a private school like how I was in middle and elementary school. The school that I go to now is a college prep school, and I only go three days a week for half a day, which is pretty great.

This past year has been amazing! I have learned so much at school and lot about myself. The teachers at my school actually care about my education, and they are always there for me if I ever need to talk to someone. I went into junior year thinking that it was going to be the hardest year of my high school career, and I was at times, but I always had my teachers to help.

So now wrapping up, I just wanted to make shout to one of my favorite people at the school, and who I know is reading this right now. My teacher Mrs. Cantor. If it wasn't for her accepting me into the school I would not be the person that I am today! She has taught me so much about what it means to really take on responsibility and to always be prepared for anything, along with how to be an adult at the right times.
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!

At home workout!

Being healthy is not about eating healthy. Its also about being fit! One of my favorite things to do is working out! There is nothing like waking up on a beautiful sunny morning and going for a nice long run around your local park. For me running is my personal therapy. I also go to a gym, just in case I want to train and work out a lot harder than I usually do.
Now if you are not like me and don't like to go for a run or walk around your park, or if you do no like to go to gyms, OR if you are just straight of lazy; then this is the best home work out! This workout is based around space. Basically, what you can do in a limited space much like a room in your house. This way you don't have to go to the gym or go to the park! You can stay in privacy of your own home! Which to me is great because there are times when we want to work out on our own time and don't wan to feel rushed by in patient people wanting to get on he machine that you are on!
I hope that is work out helps you get the fit that you want to be on your own time!
